Job Summary
The Junior Accountant will support the Finance & Accounts team at Artha Realty LLC by assisting with daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accuracy of financial data. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with foundational accounting knowledge seeking to grow in a dynamic real estate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Accounting
- Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including vendor invoices and client billing.
- Prepare and post journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers.
Financial Reporting Support
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Support with preparation of management reports and variance analysis.
- Help in budget tracking and forecasting activities.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and internal company policies.
- Support audit activities by providing required documentation and schedules.
- Maintain proper filing of financial records, vouchers, and invoices.
Payments & Collections
- Assist in coordinating vendor payments and ensuring timely settlements.
- Monitor client receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Support cash flow tracking activities.
Communication & Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, HR) for financial data collection and reconciliation.
- Communicate professionally with vendors, clients, and stakeholders as required.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance accuracy.
- Assist with system implementation and automation initiatives as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience (internship experience acceptable).
- Experience in real estate accounting (preferred but not required).
Technical Skill
- Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, Tally, SAP) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Core Competencies
- High attention to detail and strong numerical ability.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent knowledge of all projects and areas in Dubai
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred for deeper insights.
- Proven track record of successful investment strategies leading to significant client ROI.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of market trends and financial modeling.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build long-lasting client relationships.
