Samana Portofino is a B+G+11 residential building with 226 apartments and a total area of about 259,501 sq ft. Its design draws on the Italian Riviera and comune-style Italian architecture, with warm terracotta, ochre and cream facades, shuttered windows, arched ground-floor colonnades and water features.
Every apartment, from studios to two-bedroom units, has its own private pool on the balcony. Interiors include Italian-inspired finishes, fitted kitchens with branded appliances, built-in wardrobes, floor-to-ceiling windows and central air-conditioning with individual controls.
Beyond the private pools in each apartment, residents share a common pool, a kids' pool and a large leisure pool deck. Sports facilities include a basketball court, a multi-use sports court, table tennis, a water skate area and a jogging track.
The building also offers indoor and outdoor gyms, a sauna and steam room, an outdoor cinema, a barbecue area, an outdoor lounge and a children's play area, with 24-hour security and reserved parking.

Samana Portofino is in Dubai Production City (IMPZ), a freehold community beside Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road that allows full foreign ownership. It was Samana Developers' first project in the area and is close to Dubai Sports City, the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, City Centre Me'aisem, Jumeirah Village Circle and Jumeirah Village Triangle.
City Centre Me'aisem and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road are about five minutes by car, and Al Khail Road is around seven minutes away. Jumeirah Village Circle is about eight minutes, Dubai Marina around 18 to 20 minutes, Downtown Dubai about 20 minutes and Dubai International Airport roughly 28 to 30 minutes.
