Emaar describes Valo as a contemporary waterfront building built with locally sourced materials and green technologies meant to reduce its environmental impact. Listed sustainability features include cool roofs, double glazing, horizontal ledges, tinted glass, LED lighting with smart controls, condensate collection for irrigation, and double refuse chutes for recycling.
Valo has one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and a small number of three-bedroom townhouses. Every unit has a laundry room and one or two balconies, and the three-bedroom units add a maid's room. Some homes look out over Dubai Creek and the Badia Golf Course.
Valo has a leisure podium of about 6,000 sq.m. with a multipurpose room, a gym, pool areas and wellness spaces. Residents also get an infinity pool, a children's pool, play areas, BBQ and picnic spots, a yoga area and landscaped gardens. Parking includes EV charging points and bicycle spaces, and the beach-style boulevards of Creek Beach are within the community.

Valo is in Dubai Creek Harbour, Emaar's waterfront master community on Dubai Creek, inside the Creek Beach district near Al Jaddaf and Dubai Festival City. The wider community includes Creek Marina, the Harbour Promenade, Creek Beach, a Central Park about the size of six football fields, and a Viewing Point that reaches more than 70 metres over the creek.
The project sits near Ras Al Khor Road. Emaar describes the community as linked by highway, metro and water taxi. The brochure lists the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary at about 5 minutes, Burj Khalifa at about 10 minutes, Dubai International Airport at about 15 minutes and Al Maktoum International Airport at about 40 minutes.
